The company began on a modest note with depressed centre and cutoff wheels, followed by snagging wheels in collaboration with a Swiss partner company in 2002. The efficient production processes were complemented by knowledge of formulation and wheel design, and their subsequent adaptation to the Indian market.
The product offerings have grown in the last decade making Sak Abrasives a name to reckon with. Backed by a philosophy of rapid but sustainable change in response to the evolving needs of our customers, the company has we developed snagging wheels , standard vitrified wheels, engineered vitrified wheels , crankshaft & roll grinding , rice polishing wheels and honeycomb structure wheels . The company has invested in a large manufacturing plant at Gummidipoondi near Chennai and has more than 300 employees on its rolls
The company has put together its bonded abrasive product offerings under the brand name of TOPLINE. The brand has grown in recognition for quality and performance, safety, timely delivery of products, prompt service and reduced grinding costs. As an ongoing measure of our quality efforts, the company attained ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2005 and continues to maintain the standards required by the standard.
